Fair Season Part 1

It is now August, which means county and state fair season is underway! County fairs are public events where animals, art, and food are enjoyed by locals. The achievements of farmers and breeders are showcased and celebrated in livestock and agriculture shows, sometimes with a competition. State fairs, however, are all this and much more! They are typically much larger events where carnival games, rides, and live entertainment are added for extra fun. A main source of attraction to these events is definitely the food provided by local vendors.
