Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 12. Many families have traditions to make sure that their Mother’s have the best Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is a relatively new holiday. In 1908, Anne Jarvis held a memorial for her mother in Grafton West Virginia, which is where the Mother’s Day shrine still stands today. Six years later, Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday of May as “Mother’s Day.”
All Mothers are different. Some like to go out and enjoy the nice weather, and some like to just lay in bed all day and do nothing.
