Get Ready for The Big Game!

This Sunday, the biggest football game of the year will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots.  After a long, grueling season, it finally comes to an end with The Big Game this Sunday.  People watch the game for many reasons.  The first is obviously the football.  Witnessing the utter dominance of Tom Brady over the last 18 years has been unbelievable, and most of us will never witness something like that again.  The Rams are coming in with a young, potent offense attempting to knock Tom Brady off his pedestal; much like Nick Foles and The Philadelphia Eagles did just last year.  The second reason is for the commercials, which are expected to be very amusing, as they usually are.  The third reason is The Party!  This is always a great time.  Good company, good football and, most importantly, good food!  Here is a list of five favorite Football Party foods, along with some recipes to make your party a hit!

Number 5: Shrimp Cocktail— A great meal for your guests, and you can even make your own cocktail sauce!

 

Number 4: Nachos— This snack is a great crowd pleaser.  You can make as much as you want, or as little as you want depending on how much company you have.  Any way you make it, everyone can enjoy this classic!

 

Number 3:  Buffalo Chicken Dip— Buffalo chicken dip has become an extremely popular option.  One reason is that it is so easy to make.  Personally, I try to make it with a shredded rotisserie chicken rather than canned chicken to get that fresh taste!

 

Number 2: Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs— A great finger food that is tough to stop eating once you start!  Wrap them in bacon and this is sure to be a hit!

 

Number 1: Wings— Could it be anything else?  Wings have been a gameday tradition for as long as I can remember.  When served at a party, these are sure to go fast!
