A Cheesy Holiday!

It is National Cheese Fondue Day! This melted delicacy originated in Switzerland; it was first recorded in a book titled “How to Cook Cheese with Wine” in Zurich. The traditional way of cooking it is by warming white wine in a pot, adding graded cheese to it, and dipping bread in it. It’s that simple! Over the years, people have come up with various ways of preparing cheese fondue. Click here to find a delicious way of preparing a creamy cheese fondue.

Quaker Valley Foods offers a wide variety of cheeses to choose from, including the Lorraine Cheese used to make this recipe. Make sure to look at our Online Catalog to see all the brands of cheese we sell to include Stella, Bongards’, Clearfield, Cooper, and more!
